In the news, August 17th 2010
Team Skate War will be competing against Team Modern & Team Oakland Vert for statewide bragging rights. War vs Modern takes place October 2nd, Royal Oak, Modern Skate Park.
War vs Vert will be a season long series over a 4 month period. First battle to take place September 12th, Oakland Vert Park, Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Recently Joel Cronk, Captain Team War, took first place at the Flint Open.
Be sure to check out our shop, we are having a huge summer blow out. War specialty decks are now marked down to $30.00 and we will throw in the grip.
Also, in the next few weeks we have some new sick t designs coming out for fall along with new decks. Skate War IV will once again be taking place here in Mt. Pleasant, stay tuned for details. We will be giving away $1000.00 to first place advanced skater.
Skate War Tour, will be shredding across the state come winter, spring & into summer.Top finishers will automatically qualify for War IV 2011 finals.
Friday, July 30th:
Team Skate War has team members competing in the Warped tour in Detroit. 9 skaters overall who participated at Skate War III Qualified for the event. Also, Saturday the 31st, team members will be competing at Raney Park in Lansing in The MASKS. Michigan Amateur Skate Kontest Series. Good luck to all War Team members. Skate War is going to be announcing tour dates for its upcoming spring 2011 War Tour. We are currently asking the skate community which 6 parks would they like us to include in the tour. Top finalist in the tour will automatically qualify for the finals at War 2011.
Joel Cronk & Travis Harju have been named co-captains of Team War!!!
Members of team War!!! will be shredding in Clio this Sunday afternoon.
